Bcg graduate program australia

Many talented professionals without business backgrounds come to BCG and thrive here: physicists, historians, chemists, and lawyers have all become successful consultants at BCG. Diversity of thought, background and experience is a core part of our BCG values and is key to how we deliver value to clients. We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, connected, and empowered to be themselves and contribute to their fullest potential.

Entry level; up to 3 years of experience We hire the majority of our Associates through our campus hiring program in January-March of each year for final year students. Alternatively, if you are an undergraduate student in the earlier years of your studies, you can also apply for our Scholarship program in March-May of each year.

If you have between years of work experience you are welcome to submit your application all year round. Learn more about our scholarship program. Learn more about consulting. So what exactly is a virtual experience program? It is the perfect opportunity to take on practical tasks similar to what our very own BCGers would work on and get a true feel of what it is like to work at BCG as a strategy consultant, technology consultant, and a designer which will give you deeper understanding on what BCG does and help set you up for success when you decide to apply with us.

Learn more. What We Want To Know. Who You Are. Your background and personal experiences define who you are. Be clear, be distinctive, and be yourself. We want to understand what makes you unique and how you can add to the diversity of BCG. How You Think. The case will typically be based on a real BCG consulting project, and you will be asked to develop recommended solutions to a specific client challenge.

What Matters to You. We expect you to come prepared with questions. Prepare for your Case Interview. Consistently strong academic achievements A current penultimate year student at an Australian or New Zealand university. A demonstrated leader who thrives in a team environment both in the community and in their education Critical thinking. Someone who loves to solve challenging problems Communication. BCG is looking for people who can demonstrate that they have accomplished something beyond the ordinary — who can show the difference they have made in the world.

If you fit the bill, make sure that the person reading your application and supporting materials can see it. Our interview process has three parts: getting to know a candidate, understanding how they solve problems through a case study and answering questions.

Practice and preparation are key to succeeding at all three. Come prepared with specific examples of personal impact and achievement, such as where you have worked in a team and where you have faced serious challenges and roadblocks. We want to hear the details: who was involved and what exactly did you do. Everyone has stories — the difference is how well you can articulate your impact on the final result.
