Graphics are well above average on the whole for this sort of game, and levels are varied and challenging. Most holes have tricks to cut down on strokes sometimes dramatically if you think outside the box. It doesn't take long to learn how much power to put behind a stroke and the ball behaves consistently when the same amount of drawback is applied.
Ads are less frequent than with most free games, most can be dismissed quickly, and you don't get slammed with more and more ads as you progress through the levels. My only complaint worth mentioning is that I wish there were more than holes to play! Great graphics and strait-forward gameplay including the ability to use gravity to your advantage. Ads are very minimal compared to other free games, which I respect and is extremely appreciated.

Then this person hit a Hail Mary clear across the map and got it in the hole. That was his 5th stroke. I was on my 4th. But guess what I should have had my 4th then my 5th to get it in.
That ridiculous. It totally negates the obstacles and the OB part of the game. Oh and the game after that I made a Eagle bc I hit dynamite 5 times and the 5th one knocked me into the hole.

The courses are really fun and challenging at times. Trying to not only make the shot but also collect more gems than your opponent is tricky at times. Most of the time, there are multiple routes to take to acquire gems, so the blocks seem unfair. I feel that way even when I go second. Sometimes, the cubes are against you, so having them right in front of you when you take your first shot can be a cruel joke.

Rank up by beating opponents at each stage and earning trophies. Higher the stage the higher the entry fee and higher the reward. What make this different than Golf Clash are the jewels you collect while playing the hole. There is no shootout when there is a draw. Whichever player has the most jewels wins the hole in a draw situation. If you run into your opponents ball they will lose jewels so this can lead to different strategies as the holes get more difficult.
Only negative is how costly everything can be if you rank up too quickly. Those are mostly attained through purchasing them. In the unlock crates you get coins, items, and upgrades for your equipment. As you move up in difficulty you need better clubs and upgrades to be able to compete. Not being able to unlock chests without basically buying gold bars slows down the pace of the game and that leads to you putting down the game until some chests become unlocked.

The game is so addictive, and the holes offer several ways in which to get to the green. My biggest issue comes with match play and issues with how opponents are chosen. Many of my quests lately have been to win matches on the highest unlocked stage, which can be difficult to get to at all on some days.

This gives my opponent a decided advantage to begin with due to the ability to collect gems ahead of me. Combine this equipment advantage to my constant playing 2nd shot and you have a very unfair atmosphere. This makes the game very frustrating and unfair.
I see multiple others making the same complaint. Is there a reason or reasons why some have a harder time gaining the superior equipment or have the same amount of 1st shots???

I really enjoy the game. Also, as others have said I question the games authenticity. Plus in a skill based game why put such an emphasis on luck who goes first. Going first on certain maps can pretty much ensure victory. As others have said gems should be player specific.

In the lower stages, the game puts computer players in so that you can win more. If I play a high stage, I will lose my coins I put in if I don't win. For example they will give the first shot and wind to the first player and the second will never get enough gems, if both are evenly matched.
Sometimes they give the second player a? And you will lose. You might win one or two but the game will team you up agains an impossible player who likely paid for all those goods and you will be disappointed.

Sometimes my opponents gems will randomly double and my opponents balls will take HUGE bounces to sink it in 2 strokes. Occasionally my ball will shoot while nothing is touching my screen.
Another frustrating thing is that your hits are never consistent. The worst part is that mystery boxes will spawn in the perfect place for the opponent every other game.
